The work of a block

We start by naming the one fund decision in front of you, using the Of One method: who makes the decision, what outcome they want, what is true right now, and what the hard limits are.

After that, the session moves to your own files: the deal-flow inbox, a memo in progress, the portfolio tracker, last quarter’s LP letter. We set up AI routines for the parts that repeat and mark the steps a person must check.

Typical first targets: a sourcing research routine, a memo template that separates facts from judgment, and a portfolio update digest.

Working routines you can run alone, written notes on how each one is checked, and the skill to change them when the tools change.

We do not give investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and we do not touch fundraising. Where the work meets those areas, we explain the options and leave the call with you and your advisers.

Managers it suits

Solo GPs, solo capitalists and first-time managers who run a fund with little or no staff and want to stay hands-on. Managers can move to Build once the first routines are running.
